This notice explains how we handle personal data collected through cosiconsulting.com. It does not cover data we process under a contract with a client organisation, where that organisation decides how the data is used and we act on its instructions.
We collect personal data in one place: the “Request a demo” form. When you submit it, we receive:
We do not ask for payment details, identity documents, or any special category of data, and we would ask you not to send such information through this form.
Our hosting provider and the third parties named in section 6 also process technical information that reaches them automatically when you load a page — your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. Some of that is necessary to serve the site securely; the rest happens only if you accept analytics cookies.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not make decisions about you by automated means.
Some technologies on this site are necessary for it to function and are always active. Everything else is loaded only after you accept it. Until you do, those scripts sit inert in the page and do not run.

Our Company page embeds a map served by Google Maps so you can find our office. It loads with the page and Google may set its own cookies when it does. It is there to show our location, not to profile you.
We use a small number of service providers, who process data on our behalf or, where noted, as controllers in their own right:

We are based in the United States, and the providers above operate globally. If you contact us from outside the United States, your data will be transferred there and to other countries where those providers run their infrastructure. Where such a transfer is made from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, it relies on the transfer mechanisms those providers have put in place, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
We keep enquiries for as long as they remain commercially relevant — while we are in contact with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. You can ask us to delete yours sooner. Analytics data is retained according to the providers’ own retention settings.
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are encrypted before they are stored, and the area where we read them is protected by a password and an expiring session. Access is limited to people at COSI who need it.

If you are in California, you also have the right to know what personal information we collect and to ask us to delete it, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in California law.
To exercise any of these, write to contact@cosiconsulting.com. We may need to confirm who you are before we act. If you are in the EEA or the UK and you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Our pages link to partner and social media sites we do not control. This notice does not apply to them, and we suggest reading their own.
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
